With over 30 years of experience, which goes beyond the beginnings of melt filtration, Odenwälder Filtersysteme GmbH has achieved a leading market position in recent years.

1984	The first filternozzles were developed by Mr. Karl-Heinz Dörsam and tested thoroughly in collaboration with universities. Because of the significant improvements they made in the injection moulding process, this new technology achieves a huge awareness in the market.
1996	Because of the increased demand for the nozzle systems, a new division, the “Profit-Center GEDU”, was established. Mr. Karl-Heinz Dörsam was appointed as the division manager.
2003	For economic reasons, the profit centre that had thus far been part of the company was separated from the main company OKW and re-established under the name Odenwälder Filtersysteme GmbH. This new formation provided an opportunity to carry out a change of generations. Michael Dörsam became the new managing director.
2009	New building For space reasons, the company was also physically separated from the main company. The new production premises was opened in May.
